I am currently serving as the design director at UnitedHealthcare. I lead a talented design team and together, we advocate for creativity to impact our business in meaningful ways. Dedicating over 13 years in an evolving health care environment, I've embraced working at the juncture of clinical data, regulations and ultimately — people's health and wellness. My approach has always been grounded in purposeful creativity that inspires and shapes design, brand and management. The result is a consistent and cohesive brand that permeates all experiences at every touchpoint.

Always thinking, always creating

My day job requires a certain amount of negotiation and process management so often my free time is spent pursuing hands-on creative whims. These projects tend to lead me back to my true loves — paper, letters, texture and old world nostalgia — things that connect to your senses despite a mounting wall of digital noise. This obsession resulted in the founding of Apiary, a correspondence company dedicated to the handwritten word. Most recently, it culminated in the branding and design of a local neighborhood dining gem, St. Genevieve.

I love to create and everywhere I look, I see possibility.
